The name Oushé Bites is a play on the word “man’oushe” – a traditional Lebanese flatbread that dates back generations. Trying to explain what a man’oushe is to someone who has never tried it before can be tricky. Today’s man’oushe can have many different toppings. It’s a perfect snack, or it can be the focal point of a meal with family and friends. You just have to try it. It’s warm, it’s inviting, and however you choose to eat it, the man’oushe is a beloved cultural dish that’s ready for you to enjoy.
Oushé Bites puts the spotlight on the man’oushe as a perfect vessel for vibrant flavors, complimented by a menu that pulls from the vast culinary landscape of the Mediterranean and beyond. Balanced by classic and innovative recipes, our modern appeal is grounded in a mission to serve fresh food, and heartwarming memories with every irresistible bite.
CHEF RAMI
Rami’s dream of starting a bakery was ignited while studying at The George Washington University School of Business, where he graduated with his master’s degree in 2022. After a long night of studying, the craving for a man’oushe hit, and the business school mindset got him thinking – “Why don’t more people know about this comfort food?” From there, he worked on developing the perfect recipes, menu, and brand. In 2025, Oushé Bites was founded in Orange County, California.
Growing up, Rami’s home was filled with delicious smells of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes. He spent hours in the kitchen with his parents and grandparents, learning how to cook with fresh ingredients and love to make dishes that sparked joy around the table. Those experiences shaped his food philosophy, and they’re at the heart of Oushé Bites’ mission to share those flavors (and feelings) with people everywhere.
